The Institute for Applied Sustainability is special and diverse!

We are part of a traditional and innovative family business, the BÜCHL Group.
We are an affiliated institute of the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and the Technical University of Ingolstadt.
We are active in research and teaching and work together with partners from science and industry on important and future-oriented issues.
We are the practical and implementation-oriented partner for (medium-sized) companies and accompany them on their way to sustainability.

Qualifications / Requirements

A degree in the field of sustainable corporate management, environmental sciences, economics or a comparable field of study
At least one to two years of professional experience and sound knowledge in the field of sustainability management
Experience in project management or project leadership is desirable
Knowledge of sustainability reporting (e.g. also through projects) is desirable
Strong analytical thinking skills and a confident handling of numbers and large amounts of data
Sound knowledge of MS Office, in particular confidence in the development of Excel tools
Very good communication skills in working with people from different disciplines and different customer groups
Very good knowledge of English
Willingness to travel on business, also in other European countries

Responsibilities / main tasks

You are our expert for sustainability management, reporting and strategy. In particular, you are the central point of contact for inquiries about environmental and other sustainability indicators and quantitative sustainability assessment
You take on (partial) project management in the context of research and contract projects
You develop methods and tools for efficient sustainability and reporting processes
You are responsible for our figures, data and fact base in the context of research and consulting projects
You advise and support (medium-sized) companies on their path to sustainability
You take part in internal and external committees and give lectures, seminars and workshops yourself and represent our institute competently and sympathetically
